Ahh, the fresh air! Big Bear is such an beautiful place, filled with some amazing people and delicious food. With amazing restaurants, live music, and all kinds of activities, the entire town is packed with all kinds of things to do! Here is a list of some events that is put on by locals and the City of Big Bear Lake. No matter what you’re looking for in your visit, Big Bear has something going on for you. Looking to go swimming and fishing in the lake? Interested in a foot or bike race? Want to watch a movie in the beautiful meadows of our mountains? How about paint and sip some wine? There is also our 17th annual Renaissance Fair! We have it all happening right here this weekend.

Dave Brock’s Wild Child – Dave Brock’s Doors Experience is the Los Angeles based act with over 20 solid years of world tour experience and has flourished in the competitive L.A. Music Scene. Faithfully re-creating a live Doors Concert on stage. The music is painstakingly reproduced and combined with the voice, look and essence of Jim Morrison live on stage (performed by lead singer Dave Brock). Wild Child tries to mirror the depth, energy and emotion of The Doors concerts as they were live back in the late 1960’s. The Band also utilizes the same musical instruments live as The Doors did over 40 years ago. Wild Child performs internationally, playing to packed venues around the globe.

Join Bear Valley Astronomers at Bear Valley Farms for an amazing Star Party in an ideal location. Local astronomers will talk about the events in the night sky while sharing their telescopes and expertise. Guests are welcome to BYOB and bring their own blankets and chairs to relax under the stars.
